Job Description

    Client Relationship Management & Retention

    • Build and maintain trusted partnerships with corporate clients, developing a deep understanding of their business goals and travel requirements.
    • Act as a strategic advisor, delivering tailored travel solutions, ensuring service excellence, and managing key stakeholder relationships (including BCD).
    • Drive client satisfaction and loyalty through consistent service quality, proactive risk management, and issue resolution.

       

    Revenue Growth & Strategic Account Planning

    • Develop and execute strategies to expand revenue across client accounts through renewals, negotiations, and upsell opportunities.
    • Create comprehensive account plans aligned with client and organizational objectives, identifying opportunities for innovation, program expansion, and added value.
    • Leverage market insights, client data, and performance analytics to uncover new growth opportunities in business travel and MICE.

       

    Leadership & Collaboration

    • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of account managers and MICE specialists, fostering a collaborative, performance-driven culture.
    • Partner cross-functionally with Sales, Operations, Product, Finance, Marketing, and Event Management teams to deliver integrated travel and MICE solutions.
    • Ensure seamless handover from sales to account management by collaborating closely with the client acquisition team during onboarding.

       

    Forecasting & Market Insights

    • Deliver accurate revenue forecasts and business reports to senior leadership, segmented by travel and MICE categories.
    • Monitor market trends, client behavior, and competitor activity to provide insights that shape business strategy.
Job Requirements
    • Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or related field. An MBA is preferred.
    • Proven experience in a leadership role within account management, sales, or customer success.
    • Proficiency in MS Office, financial software, and ERP systems (e.g., Sabre, Powersuite, online booking platforms).
    • Dynamic leader with a proven record of inspiring and managing high-performing teams across sales, account management, and customer success.
    • Strong expertise in the travel sector with comprehensive destination insights, preferred experience in the travel industry, with airlines, online travel, or related sectors also highly relevant.
    • Proven expertise in B2B sales with corporate clients, with a strong background in MICE and a track record of driving revenue growth through successful key account management.
    • A track record for recruiting and developing staff in line with growth plans.
    • Available to travel when needed for client meetings and industry functions.
