Job Description

The UI/UX Manager is responsible for leading a team of designers to create seamless, engaging, and impactful digital experiences across web and mobile platforms. This role oversees the entire design lifecycle — from strategy and research to execution and usability testing — ensuring user-centric and visually consistent outcomes that align with business goals.
 

Key Responsibilities:

• Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of UI/UX designers, fostering a collaborative environment that promotes creativity, accountability, and continuous growth.
• End-to-End Design Ownership: Oversee the complete UI/UX process — including planning, user research, design workshops, wireframing, prototyping, testing, and iterative enhancements.
• User Research & Insights: Facilitate design thinking sessions and usability assessments to uncover user needs, pain points, and opportunities for improvement.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Product, Engineering, Digital Marketing, and Branding teams to ensure design strategies support broader business and product objectives.
• Design System Management: Develop and maintain a scalable, accessible design system that drives visual consistency and design efficiency across all platforms.
• Data-Driven Design: Utilize both qualitative insights and quantitative metrics to guide design decisions and enhance user satisfaction.
• Performance Tracking: Define, monitor, and evaluate OKRs and KPIs to measure the impact of design initiatives and continuously improve team performance and output.
• Project Management: Oversee planning, resource allocation, and timeline management to ensure timely and high-quality delivery of all UI/UX projects.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), or a related discipline. Candidates with a Diploma and substantial relevant experience are also encouraged to apply.
• Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in UI/UX design, including at least 3 years in a leadership or team management capacity.
• Demonstrated success in managing end-to-end UI/UX projects — from research and concept development to final delivery and iterative improvements.
• Proficient in modern design and prototyping tools such as Figma and Adobe XD.
• Strong command of user-centered design principles, accessibility standards, and best practices in design system implementation.
• Experienced in conducting usability testing, performing design audits, and leveraging analytics to drive continuous improvement.
• Exceptional communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving abilities.
• Adaptable and resourceful, with the ability to perform effectively in dynamic, fast-paced environments with tight deadlines and shifting priorities.
