Job Description
- Develop new customers and maintain the customer base in the assigned territory.
- Take a primary role in the sales efforts to acquire key prospects and secure orders.
- Meet or exceed the yearly sales target for your territory.
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of product knowledge and identify customer pain points, proposing the right solutions.
- Implement creative sales strategies to identify and reach out to customers from various industries.
- Build and maintain solid relationships with new and existing customers.
- Prepare quotations and propose pricing, product specifications, and delivery schedules to customers.
- Conduct market analysis to monitor trends, market conditions, and identify opportunities and threats.
- Confidently negotiate terms and conditions of sales agreements, including delivery lead time, payment terms, and pricing.
- Analyze and monitor sales forecast activity and profit margin performance, making necessary adjustments to achieve goals consistent with company objectives.
- Perform product demonstrations when necessary.
- Establish professional relationships within the industry and partner with customers to understand and anticipate their needs.
- Continuously maintain CRM for contacts, accounts, opportunities, quotes, etc.
- Actively participate in industry trade association groups.
- Prepare weekly reports.
We are expanding and are currently looking for a highly motivated and result-oriented individual to join our team as a Technical Sales Engineer. In this role, you will work closely with the Business Development and technical teams to drive sales growth and effectively represent the company to customers and stakeholders. Job Requirements
- Candidate must possess at least a Professional Certificate, Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Engineering (Mechatronic/Electromechanical), Engineering (Metal Fabrication/Tool & Die/Welding), or related field.
- Required language(s): Bahasa Malaysia and English. Ability to converse in Mandarin/Chinese Mandarin will be an added advantage.
- At least 2-3 years of working experience in the related field is required for this position, but fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Preferably Senior Executive specialized in B2B.
- Have knowledge of CNC cutting tools and their applications.
- Enjoys a good challenge in meeting sales targets and communicating with people from various levels.
- Experience in the sales field, particularly in relation to CNC machines and cutting tools, will be an added advantage.
- This position will require you to travel frequently within Malaysia.
