Job Description

• Vision Software & Hardware Design:
  • Design vision software and configure hardware (optic, camera, lens, lighting) for automated inspection systems.
  • Conduct research into vision technology solutions and source related hardware and software libraries.
• Project Management:
  • Manage vision projects, including establishing project schedules and plans.
  • Coordinate and run vision evaluations, characterizations, and investigations based on customer samples and requests.
• Customer Requirements & Design Specifications:
  • Translate customer requirements into design specifications and evaluate design feasibility.
  • Provide technical expertise to exceed customer expectations.
• Buyoff Qualification & Reporting:
  • Accountable for vision software and hardware buyoff qualification and reporting.
• Production Support:
  • Provide support to the production team for machine build issues related to vision systems.
• Engineering Documentation:
  • Prepare engineering documentation, including DCN, SOPs, user manuals, and guidelines.
• Additional Duties:
  • Undertake other assigned duties and ensure timely completion.

Job Requirements

• Willing to relocate to Pyeongtaek, South Korea.
• Degree in Electronics, Electrical, Mechatronics, Computer, Optical, or Photonics Engineering (Second upper class or above).
• Strong work ethic, self-motivated, and capable of working both independently and as part of a team.

• Excellent technical leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Positive mindset, with a willingness to provide extended support to customers.

• Knowledge of semiconductor processes, optic, or IR technologies is a plus.
• Strong project management skills.
• Expertise in software programming, optical inspection, and image processing.
• Experience with vision libraries such as Halcon, Euresys, OpenCV.
• Proficient in Visual C++, Visual C#, and VB.NET programming languages.
• Knowledge of Artificial Intelligence (AI) is an added advantage.
