Senior HR Executive (Retail)

Job Description

    Talent Acquisition & Onboarding

    • Partner with department heads to understand staffing needs and develop targeted job descriptions.
    • Utilize various hiring channels to attract top candidates for both retail and administrative positions.
    • Conduct candidate screenings, interviews, and assessments, providing hiring recommendations.
    • Oversee a structured onboarding experience to help new hires integrate seamlessly into the company culture.

     

    Employee Relations & Engagement

    • Act as the primary HR contact for employee inquiries regarding policies, procedures, and workplace matters.
    • Address and mediate employee conflicts, ensuring a positive and inclusive work environment.
    • Develop and implement employee engagement initiatives to enhance team morale and collaboration.

     

    Compliance & HR Policy Management

    • Stay updated on employment laws and HR best practices to ensure compliance with regulations.
    • Administer and enforce HR policies, ensuring consistent implementation across all departments.

     

    Performance Management & Development

    • Support the performance review process, including goal setting, feedback, and development planning.
    • Provide guidance to managers and employees on performance-related concerns and improvements.

     

    HR Data Management & Reporting

    • Maintain accurate employee records in both physical and digital formats.
    • Generate HR reports and analytics to track trends and support data-driven decision-making.
Job Requirements

    Requirements: 

    • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. 
    • Proven experience as an HR professional, with a focus on operational and back-end HR tasks. 
    • Knowledge of HR best practices, employment laws, and regulations.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with employees and managers. 
    • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. 
    • Demonstrated problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities.
    • Proficiency in HRIS systems and MS Office Suite. 
    • Prior experience in the retail industry is a plus.
