We are a dynamic and growing M & E engineering firm committed to excellence in Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC). We are currently seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Finance & HR Executive to join our team and play a key role in managing the financial and human resource functions of the company.
Job Description
Financial & Statutory Reporting:
- Oversee the full spectrum of Accounts, including Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), General Ledger (GL), and Reporting.
- Monitor daily transactions, bank balances, and month-end closings.
- Ensure adequate funds for operations by monitoring the cash-flow position.
- Manage and maintain customer and supplier aging summaries.
- Perform month-end accounts closing processes, review balance sheet accounts, and reconcile project costing, billings, collections, receivables, and payables with operational teams.
- Assist in the management of annual statutory audits and legal matters.
- Timely and accurate processing of payments related to vendors, contractors, utilities, office expenses, and regulatory bodies.
- Assist in the application of bank facilities.
- Review adequacy of controls and processes and implement improvements.
Human Resources:
- Manage the recruitment processes, including job posting, resume screening, and interview coordination.
- Handle onboarding and orientation for new employees.
- Maintain employee records, including personal information, attendance, and leave records.
- Process monthly payrolls, staff claims, and related payments in a timely and accurate manner.
- Preparation of HR-related documentation and compliance, including monthly contributions for Income Tax, SOCSO, and KWSP declarations.
- Coordinate annual performance appraisals and manage Bonus-Increment-Promotion matters.
Job Requirements
- Degree in finance, accounting, or related field with a strong foundation in financial principles and practices.
- Minimum 1 year of working experience in Finance/Accounting, preferably in a contracting/project-based environment.
- Hands-on knowledge of accounting, finance, human resource functions, payroll, and compliance with statutory bodies.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to diagnose/resolve matters expediently.
- Knowledge of SQL Accounting is an added advantage.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office or related software.
- Proficiency in Bahasa Malaysia, English, and Chinese (added advantage).
- Computer literate, proactive, and self-motivated with the ability to work independently and within a team.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
