Job Description

Our client is seeking a qualified Senior Accountant to manage their financial operations with specialized focus on warehouse inventory management. This role combines traditional accounting responsibilities with comprehensive inventory control and cost analysis for automotive manufacturing operations.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

Financial Accounting

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Manage accounts payable, receivable, and general ledger
• Process payroll and handle tax compliance
• Conduct financial analysis and budget preparation
• Strong knowledge in SST (Sales & Service Tax) compliance and reporting

 

Warehouse Inventory Management

• Oversee inventory valuation and stock level monitoring
• Implement inventory control systems and procedures
• Conduct regular stock takes and reconciliation
• Analyze inventory turnover and identify slow-moving items
• Coordinate with procurement and warehouse teams on stock management

 

Cost Control & Analysis

• Monitor material costs and manufacturing expenses
• Prepare cost analysis reports for management
• Track and analyze inventory variances
• Support pricing decisions with accurate cost data

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Professional qualification (ACCA/CIMA/MIA) preferred
• Minimum 5 years accounting experience with inventory management
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and inventory control
• Proficient in accounting software, ERP systems, and Excel
• Fluent in Mandarin, Bahasa Malaysia and English
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills
• Experience in manufacturing/automotive industry preferred
• Willing to work in Banting, Selangor
