Sales Manager (Steel Industry)

Job Description
    1. Develop sales team targets aligned with the company’s overall sales strategy and annual objectives, ensuring the achievement of key metrics such as revenue and profit margins.
    2. Manage relationships with key accounts and collaborate closely with internal departments (e.g., procurement, finance) to resolve partnership matters, including product customization and after-sales support, to drive and expand business scope.
    3. Support the establishment and continuous improvement of the sales framework, including refining customer management processes, designing incentive programs, and adapting sales strategies in response to market dynamics.
    4. Monitor, analyze, and evaluate sales performance data (e.g., revenue, collection rates) and team results
    5. Work closely with senior management on new market development, major tenders, sales cost management, and cross-functional resource coordination to accelerate business growth.
Job Requirements
    1. Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration or other related field.
    2. Fluent in Chinese, English, and Malay (spoken and written).
    3. At least 5 years of sales experience, including a minimum of 2 years in a leadership role.
    4. Demonstrated success as a high-performing sales professional or experience as a top sales achiever is an advantage.
    5. Industry experience in steel, industrial sectors, or import/export businesses is preferred.
    6. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel (data analysis) and PowerPoint (reporting and presentations).
    7. Able to demonstrate effective sales strategies, leading and managing a sales team, and driving team performance.
    8. Results-driven, resilient under pressure, and highly sensitive to market trends and opportunities.
    9. Strong communication and negotiation abilities, with the capacity to coordinate both internal and external stakeholders to resolve challenges.
    10. Fast learner with the flexibility to adapt strategies in response to industry changes.
    11. High level of integrity and professionalism, committed to maintaining confidentiality, with a clean professional record.
    12. Willing to travel internationally and thrive in a fast-paced working environment.
