Job Description
- Sales & Lead Generation
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through research, networking, and proactive outreach.
- Deliver engaging product presentations and live demonstrations to highlight the value of POS and accounting solutions.
- Manage the full sales cycle, from prospect qualification through to deal closure, while maintaining a healthy sales pipeline.
- Negotiate commercial terms, pricing, and agreements to successfully convert prospects into clients.
- Client Relationship Management
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with customers to ensure satisfaction and retention.
- Gain a clear understanding of client needs and recommend tailored solutions accordingly.
- Provide responsive support by addressing inquiries, resolving concerns, and maintaining consistent communication.
- Conduct periodic account reviews to identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling.
- Market Insights & Competitive Analysis
- Perform market research to identify target segments, industry trends, and competitor activity.
- Stay informed on customer demands and emerging market developments to uncover growth opportunities and potential risks.
- Share insights with internal teams to support product improvements and strengthen go-to-market strategies.
- Sales Tracking & Forecasting
- Keep accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and pipeline progress.
- Prepare regular sales reports and forecasts to monitor performance and provide visibility to management.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline.
- Professional certifications such as CPA will be an added advantage.
- At least 1 year of sales experience, ideally within the software or technology industry.
- Familiarity with POS systems and accounting software is highly preferred.
- Proven ability to achieve or exceed sales targets and contribute to revenue growth.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts in a clear and engaging manner.
- Effective negotiation and closing skills, with a talent for building trust with clients.
- Customer-focused mindset with excellent interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Experience with accounting platforms such as QuickBooks, Xero, or similar tools is a plus.
