Job Description

Our client is looking for an experienced and proactive Production Supervisor to oversee daily manufacturing operations. This role is responsible for leading a production team, ensuring smooth workflows, consistent quality, and timely output to meet business objectives.

 

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise, lead, and motivate production staff to achieve targets and maintain high performance.
• Plan, organise, and monitor daily production schedules to ensure efficiency and minimise downtime.
• Oversee workflow, identify bottlenecks, and implement improvements to optimise productivity.
• Coordinate with procurement, quality control, and maintenance teams to support uninterrupted operations.
• Provide training, coaching, and performance feedback to team members.
• Enforce compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and quality standards.
• Support management in continuous improvement initiatives and cost-efficiency projects.
• Maintain accurate production reports and records for management review.

Job Requirements

• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in a production-related role (e.g., Production Executive, Team Leader, or similar) within manufacturing, logistics, or related industries.
• Strong knowledge of production processes, scheduling, and workflow management.
• Strong leadership potential with good communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to analyse data and propose improvements in efficiency and quality.
• Proficient in both English and Mandarin (spoken & written) to liaise with internal teams and overseas counterparts (e.g., HQ in China).
• Familiarity with quality standards, industry regulations, and workplace safety practices.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and production management systems is an added advantage.
• Willing to work in Banting, Selangor.
