Job Description

  • Live out Chef
  • Communicate with clients to determine their food preferences and dietary restrictions.
  • Ensuring to take note of any food allergies or meal preparation specifications from
    clients.
  • Preparing and presenting customized meal plans for approval.
  • Stocking on various ingredients ahead and kitchen tools required.
  • Reviewing ingredients and other packaged food products to check for quality and
    consumption date.
  • Adhering to the food, safety, and hygiene standards always.
  • Cleaning and maintaining the workstation before and after every meal preparation.
  • Providing clients the instructions on the consumption of certain food items.
  • Plating and serving meals to clients on time.
  • Washing, cleaning, and sanitizing cooking equipment and utensils.
  • Ensuring that there is no waste of ingredients and can budget wisely.
  • Make sure that the interior and exterior of the house is always clean and well maintained with the maid.
  • Maintaining inventory of all furnishings, plants, and equipment in the house, inform
    PA ordering replacements when needed.
  • Coordinate with PA to ensure that all events run smoothly from start to finish.
  • Coordinate with PA on pet food and daily supplies which include running for groceries.
  • Supervise daily housekeeping and maintenance to ensure that the facility is always
    well-kept. 

Job Requirements

  • Candidate must possess at least a Diploma in Culinary Arts or equivalent with a minimum of 5 years’ relevant working experience. 
  • A highly flexible, creative, hard worker and an organized Chef with all menu planning and provisioning including able to work independently. 
  • Attention to detail and able to cook international cuisine. 
  • Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia (written and spoken). 
  • An experienced chef working within private households, chalets, villas, hotels and restaurants for small and large groups. 
  • Confident in cooking Mediterranean, Middle Eastern, most popular European, Japanese, Chinese, British, South American, Asian favorites not limited to. 
  • He has a focus on quality, presentation, and impeccable Hygiene. 
  • Is resourceful, discreet, professional, proactive and has good judgement. 
  • Able to do drinks/ wine pairing with food is a plus point.
