Job Description

    The Operations Manager is responsible for coordinating and streamlining the functions of production, procurement, warehouse, and logistics to ensure smooth day-to-day operations. This position works collaboratively with multiple departments to drive efficiency, maintain quality benchmarks, and effectively meet customer needs.

    Key Responsibilities
     

    Production & Warehouse Management

    • Plan, coordinate, and oversee production and warehouse operations to ensure timely output, product quality, and adherence to safety and compliance standards.
    • Monitor manufacturing and inventory processes to identify inefficiencies, optimize workflows, and maintain balanced stock levels that prevent shortages or overages.
    • Collaborate with production and warehouse teams to streamline operations, enhance productivity, and uphold an organized, safe, and compliant work environment.

    Purchasing & Logistics Management

    • Oversee end-to-end procurement and logistics operations, ensuring the timely sourcing, transportation, and delivery of materials within budget and quality standards.
    • Develop and maintain strong partnerships with suppliers and logistics providers to secure cost efficiency, reliable supply, and favorable terms.
    • Monitor and optimize supply chain processes to reduce lead times, control costs, and enhance overall customer satisfaction.
    • Ensure all purchasing and logistics activities comply with company policies, financial guidelines, and legal requirements.

    Team Leadership & Coordination

    • Lead and mentor cross-functional teams across production, purchasing, warehouse, and logistics divisions.
    • Promote a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
    • Evaluate team performance against KPIs and implement strategies for consistent improvement.

    Reporting & Analysis

    • Prepare and review operational reports on production, procurement, inventory, and delivery metrics.
    • Analyze performance data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and cost-saving opportunities.
    • Present insights and strategic recommendations to senior management for informed decision-making.
Job Requirements
    • Bachelor’s degree in Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a closely related discipline.
    • 4–5 years of proven experience in operations management, including hands-on oversight of production, procurement, warehouse, and logistics operations.
    • Professional certifications such as Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) or Lean Six Sigma are highly preferred.
    • Proficiency with ERP platforms, inventory control systems, and logistics management tools.
    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for collaboration with internal teams, executives, and external stakeholders.
    • Strong strategic and analytical abilities to diagnose issues, identify root causes, and implement practical solutions that align operational initiatives with overall organizational objectives.
