Job Description

  • Manage the key Accounts (KA) portfolio ensuring delivery of objectives in terms of growth and exceeding the budget target.
  • Develop customer specific strategies and strong relationships with customers to get deep, high and wide into their organization.
  • Manage portfolio of existing clients, leading customer negotiations and reviews, including contractual terms and conditions, KPI’s, pricing and product mix management, and contract renewals.
  • Work very closely with field teams to ensure commitment delivery at every KA as per agreed contractual KPI's. 
  • Follow Corporate protocol and processes for prospecting, structuring deals and gaining approval to allow for final proposal. 
  • Act as a brand ambassador, focused on cleaning and safety, water, sustainability, efficiency and innovation. 
  • Achieve targeted sales growth at a rate and profit margin consistent with targets for key and corporate portfolio 
  • Maintain and use up-to-date knowledge of product and service lines, company sales philosophy and policy, company processes and industry conditions to initiate and close sales contracts. 
  • Partner with our service team, Corporate Account Team, and inter-company partners to implement best practices to solve customer’s pest problems.

Job Requirements

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in any field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a business-to-business field sales environment. 
  • Fluent in English and Malay.
  • Strong customer service skills and integrity with extraordinary ability to develop relationships with senior customer decision makers within chain accounts. 
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. 
  • Sound commercial business understanding, incl. financial acumen, analytical ability. 
  • Strong problem solving skills with the ability to understand what the customer needs. 
  • Good organization and planning skills with a high attention to detail.
  • Ability to use technology and analysis tools (Customer relationship management software, Excel, PowerPoint). 

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Experience in dealing with large national and multi-national accounts. 
  • Experience in developing and maintaining relations at a senior level within customer accounts. 
  • Fluent in other local dialects. 
  • Pest elimination and / or hotel and restaurant and / or Food manufacturer selling experience preferred
  • Proven relationship management and consulting skills 
  • Problem-solving ability to determine customer solutions 
  • Proven negotiation & presentation expertise 
  • Strong self-motivation & drive for results
