Job Description

The HR & Admin Manager will oversee all aspects of human resources and administrative functions within the engineering company, ensuring compliance with Malaysian labor laws and fostering a positive work environment

Key Responsibilities:

1. Human Resources Management:

  • Ensure company procedures are in alignment with company goals and Malaysian labour regulations.
  • Lead recruitment efforts, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and on boarding 
    technical and non-technical positions.
  • Full spectrum of HR & Admin functions, training, development programs, and 
    employee relations activities.
  • Ensure accurate and timely payroll processing and benefits administration.

    2. Administrative Management:
  • Oversee office operations, including facilities management, office supplies procurement and vendor relationships.
  • Coordinate office renovation projects, ensuring compliance with safety standards and 
    budgetary constraints.
  • Develop and implement administrative policies and procedures to streamline workflow and improve efficiency.
  • Maintain records and documentation related to HR and administrative functions.

    3. Compliance and Reporting:
  • Stay updated with changes in labour laws and regulations in Malaysia, ensuring 
    company-wide compliance.
  • Prepare and submit required reports to regulatory bodies as per legal requirements.
  • Liase with the external parties such as government bodies like Immigration and embassy on working permit and visas.
  • Responsible the renewal and fresh application for company’s license application – CIDB, MOF, ST, TNB etc
  • Manage tenancy agreement for company apartment, warehouse, building etc.
  • Maintaining company building maintenance, company vehicle.
  • Sound knowledge of Malaysia Labor Law
  • Facilitate interviews for recruitment/ appraisal
  • Knowledge in application of EP/ Work permit/ Training permit/ CIDB Green card application

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources management, Business Administration, or related field
  • 8-10 years of experience in HR and administrative management roles, preferably in the engineering or related industry.
  • Strong knowledge of Malaysian labour laws, regulations, and best practices.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work independently with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Experience in engineering construction job site is preferable.
