Job Description
- Develop and implement business development strategies across key accounts, distributors, and e-commerce platforms.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with partners and negotiate trading terms, allowances, and contracts.
- Set sales targets by territory, track performance, and use KPIs to evaluate sales, market share, and distribution effectiveness.
- Analyse market trends and consumer behaviour to identify opportunities, coverage gaps, and new growth areas.
- Recruit and manage partners to strengthen market coverage and expand into new regions or customer segments.
Monitor receivables closely, ensuring effective collection and healthy cash flow.
- Evaluate and improve sales processes, SOPs, and plans to enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction.
- Conduct regular market visits to gather intelligence, support sales operations, and strengthen distributor/dealer performance.
- Provide market insights and product gap analysis, recommending enhancements or new solutions to the product team.
- Develop and refine merchandising guidelines to maintain consistent market presence.
- Lead and mentor the business development team to deliver on sales targets across all channels.
- Assess performance, identify capability gaps, and implement development or improvement plans.
- Foster a collaborative, high-performance culture, acting as a strong and visible leader.
- Provide coaching, training, and support to equip the team with the tools and knowledge needed for success.
Our client is seeking a Head of Business Development to lead and scale growth initiatives in Vietnam. This role is responsible for designing and executing business development strategies, building long-term partnerships, and ensuring revenue and market share targets are met across all channels.

Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
- Minimum 5–6 years of experience in key account management or business development, ideally within health & beauty, retail, or consumer goods.
- Proven track record of building partnerships, delivering revenue growth, and driving business expansion.
- Strong understanding of consumer behaviour, industry trends, and competitive dynamics in the Vietnam market.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills with the ability to influence at senior levels.
- Strong analytical skills to interpret market data and sales performance, with the ability to translate insights into strategy.
- Ability to work independently and lead in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
- Willingness to travel regularly within Vietnam and occasionally overseas for meetings, training, or strategy sessions.
