Job Description
- Lead, mentor, and support a team of accounting professionals, providing guidance on complex issues and ensuring strong performance.
- Assign tasks, set clear performance goals, and conduct regular reviews.
- Build a collaborative, high-performing team culture.
- Oversee daily accounting activities including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and financial reporting within the Shared Services Center (SSC).
- Ensure accurate, timely processing of financial transactions and preparation of financial statements.
- Manage month-end and year-end closing processes with full data accuracy.
- Identify areas for process improvement and implement best practices across the SSC.
- Lead automation efforts and initiatives to enhance efficiency and minimize errors.
- Maintain strong internal controls and ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
- Prepare and review financial reports, such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Provide financial insights and analysis to support business decisions.
- Coordinate with external auditors and fulfill all audit requirements.
- Assist in developing annual budgets, forecasts, and long-term financial plans.
- Monitor budget variances and recommend corrective actions when needed.
- Partner with senior management on financial strategy and planning.
- Ensure full compliance with financial regulations, tax laws, and internal policies.
- Oversee internal controls to manage financial risks effectively.
- Manage relationships with auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory authorities.
- Work closely with other SSC teams (HR, Procurement, IT) to integrate and streamline accounting processes.
- Communicate with business units and regional teams to resolve accounting matters and align on SSC goals.
- Represent the accounting function in cross-functional projects and initiatives.

Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Professional accounting certification (e.g., CPA, ACCA, CIMA) is required.
- Proven experience as an Accounting Manager or similar leadership role, preferably within a Shared Services Center environment.
- Strong knowledge of SSC operations, multi-entity accounting, and financial reporting.
- Hands-on experience with ERP systems (such as SAP or Oracle) and accounting software.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Solid technical accounting knowledge, including GAAP or IFRS standards.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
