Finance Manager - Japanese Speaker | Hospitality

A leading hospitality company featuring some of the top Asia hotels, with a strong legacy in real estate investment. Our client's business interests include the development, ownership and management of hospitality and lifestyle brands and assets, as well as the continuous up skilling and development of the talent pool for the hospitality and service sector in the region.

• Responsible for daily hotel financial controls including revenue checks, accounts receivables and collections, accounts payable and payment and cash management.
• Responsible for the preparation of monthly financial reports and forecasts.
• Coordinate and prepare the annual budget with commentary and variance analysis.
• Oversee procurement and sourcing to achieve a competitive cost structure and quality products.
• Manage treasury operations including cashflow forecasts.
• Review terms of all contracts and ensure timely renewal of contracts and licences.
• Work with internal and external auditors and accounting offices for tax filings.
• Liaise with human resources personnel for payroll calculations.
• Other general office administration tasks and assist with the General Manager with the day-to-day operations of the hotel. 
• Lead and supervise the accounting staff.

• Minimum of 4 years of leadership experience in financial operations, with the ability to independently manage finance and accounting matters of a boutique hotel.
• possess management experience and head office reporting experience preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work well in a cross-function, cross-region, cross-border team. 
• Experience in hospitality industry or audit experience in hospitality industry will be advantageous.
• Strong proficiency in Japanese and English, both spoken and written.
