Job Description

1.       Responsible to prepare and coordinate drawings, technical submission and engineering design in accordance with schedule provided.

2.       Responsible to liaise and coordinate with main-contractor, consultant, client etc. to ensure project work smoothly.

3.       Responsible to review, evaluate and clarify the technical compliance of equipment/material offered for the project.  Prepare technical comparison/reports to Management for selection and procurement of equipment/material etc.

4.       Upon Management’s decision to liaise with Procurement teams for the submission of selected equipment/material for approval by Client/Consultant.

5.       Responsible to prepare progress reports, method statements for sub-contractors work, request for inspection as needed for the project.

6.       Responsible for the tracking, monitoring and submission of equipment/material for approval by Client/Consultant.

7.       Responsible to prepare and submit technical queries as and when required.

8.       Responsible to check with Client/Consultant on any contradiction between tender drawings, construction drawings and Bill of Quantities.  Follow-up with commercial teams on any discrepancies and assist commercial teams in any valuations.

9.       Responsible to extract and take-off quantities of equipment/material required to assist Procurement to issue the RFQ.

10.    Responsible on the troubleshooting engineering problem as and when required.

Any other duties/tasks assigned from time to time.
