Job Description
Key Responsibilities
• Manage medium-scale projects in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
• Develop project timelines and ensure on-time delivery of results.
• Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior team members.
• Design and develop vision software and hardware for automated inspection systems (optic, camera, lens, lighting).
• Conduct research in vision technology, source hardware and software libraries.
• Manage vision projects, plan schedules, and coordinate with cross-functional teams.
• Conduct vision evaluation, characterization, and investigation for customer samples.
• Translate customer requirements into design specifications, assess feasibility, and provide technical expertise.
• Ensure vision software/hardware buyoff qualification and proper reporting.
• Support production for machine build issues related to vision systems.
• Maintain engineering documentation (DCN, SOP, manuals, guidelines).
• Perform other duties as assigned with timely completion.
Job Requirements
Requirements
• Degree in Engineering or Science (Electronics, Electrical, Mechatronics, Computer, Optical, or Photonics) – Second Upper Class or above.
• ≥5 years relevant working experience in the field.
• Strong software programming, optical inspection, and image processing skills.
• Experience with vision libraries (e.g., Halcon, Euresys) and programming in Visual C++, C#, VB.NET.
• Knowledge of semiconductor processes or IR technology is an advantage.
• Innovative, self-motivated, adaptable, with positive work attitude and ability to work independently and in teams.
• Strong technical leadership, analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, customer-oriented, and eager to learn new technologies.
