Job Description
- Cost Analysis & Reporting: Analyze manufacturing costs, prepare variance reports, scrutinize product costing, and generate monthly cost consumption reports.
- Costing Maintenance: Maintain and update standard and actual costing data, ensuring accurate BOM settings and periodic review of standard costs.
- Variance Analysis: Proactively analyze cost variances, investigate discrepancies, and recommend corrective actions and cost-saving opportunities.
- Budgeting & Forecasting: Support the annual budget process with costing data and monitor actual costs against budget, recommending optimization strategies.
- Process Improvement: Collaborate with other departments to improve cost management processes and suggest system enhancements.
- Ad-hoc Reporting & Analysis: Perform specific cost analyses and prepare reports as needed, assisting with cost-related audits.
Key Responsibilities:
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
- Professional certifications (CPA, CMA) are a plus.
- 2-3 years of costing or financial analysis experience, preferably in manufacturing.
- Strongly desired experience in standard costing and variance analysis.
- Strong numeracy and financial analysis skills, with knowledge of manufacturing costing principles.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (formulas, pivot tables, data analysis).
- Experience with ERP systems and BOM management.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Willingness to learn and adapt.
