Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

• Cost Analysis & Reporting: Analyze manufacturing costs, prepare variance reports, scrutinize product costing, and generate monthly cost consumption reports.
• Costing Maintenance: Maintain and update standard and actual costing data, ensuring accurate BOM settings and periodic review of standard costs.
• Variance Analysis: Proactively analyze cost variances, investigate discrepancies, and recommend corrective actions and cost-saving opportunities.
• Budgeting & Forecasting: Support the annual budget process with costing data and monitor actual costs against budget, recommending optimization strategies.
• Process Improvement: Collaborate with other departments to improve cost management processes and suggest system enhancements.
• Ad-hoc Reporting & Analysis: Perform specific cost analyses and prepare reports as needed, assisting with cost-related audits.

Job Requirements

Education:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• Professional certifications (CPA, CMA) are a plus.

Experience:

• 2-3 years of costing or financial analysis experience, preferably in manufacturing.
• Strongly desired experience in standard costing and variance analysis.

Skills:

• Strong numeracy and financial analysis skills, with knowledge of manufacturing costing principles.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (formulas, pivot tables, data analysis).
• Experience with ERP systems and BOM management.
