Job Description


  • Prospect for potential new clients and increase business.
  • Cold call to ensure a robust pipeline of opportunities.
  • Identify potential clients, and the decision makers within the client organization.
  • Win deals and projects by consulting clients in the areas of Leadership, Teams and Culture; which include understanding the industry, consulting to identify their true needs and provide solutions that affectively address those needs.
  • Research and build relationships with new clients.
  • Plan approaches and pitches.
  • Work with team to develop proposals that meet client’s needs and objectives.
  • Participate in pricing the solution/services.
  • Handle objections by clarifying, emphasizing agreements and working through differences to a positive conclusion

Service Account

  • Nurture and expand businesses within existing clients.
  • Present new products and services and enhance existing relationships.
  • Build rapport with clients in order to identify their learning needs, offer tailored advice about products or services, develop deeper relationships, and create opportunities to generate business.
  • Arrange and participate in internal and external client debriefs.

Business Development Participation

  • Attend business functions, such as association events and conferences, and provide feedback and information on market trends related to L&D in specific, and HR in general.
  • Present to and consult management on business trends with a view to developing new services, products, and distribution channels.
  • Using knowledge of the market and competitors, identify and develop the company’s unique selling propositions and differentiators.
  • Assist in preparing business plans, sales strategies and analyzing sales data to update strategies.

Operational Management

  • Forecast sales targets and ensure they are met.
  • Track and record activity on accounts and close deals to meet these targets.
  • Manage P&L of projects / clients.
  • Understand organisation’s goal and purpose to enhance company’s performance.
  • Present an image that mirrors the branding of the organisation.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor degree in related fields of business, HR, L&D, communication or equivalent with at least 5 years’ work experience.
  • Planning, priority setting, quality-focus and a good problem-solver in execution of your role.
  • Self-motivated to achieve results, detail oriented and can ‘think on your feet’ to resolve challenges.
  • Strong coordination skills with a demonstrated ability to liaise effectively with various stakeholders.
  • Systematic, thorough and able to organize work well independently and in a team.
  • Experience in client management would be an advantage.
  • Communication skills in verbal and written.
  • Knowledge in Microsoft.
