Job Description

Video Editing:

• Produces polished videos optimized for platforms like Instagram, TikTok, Xiaohongshu (XHS), and YouTube.
• Transforms longer videos into engaging short-form content, such as Reels and Shorts, to maximize distribution.
• Structures raw media, edits video sequences, adjusts color, and generates static and animated graphics using provided templates.
• Elevates videos in post-production by incorporating music, voiceovers, and sound design.
• Offers fresh and inventive concepts, showcasing a deep understanding of social media trends, audience engagement techniques, and narrative approaches that align with the brand and connect with viewers.
• Works with the team to guarantee brand uniformity by following style guides and maintaining effective visual organization in all video outputs.
• Handles multiple video assignments simultaneously, ensuring timely completion and adherence to schedules.
   

Videography:

• Organizes and oversees video shoots in partnership with the content team and project lead.
• Ensures correct framing, fundamental lighting, and audio arrangements for superior video production.
• Records and edits footage for company events as needed.

Job Requirements

• Holds a Diploma or Degree in Media Production, Photography, Film Production, or a similar discipline.
• Background in a production house or media agency is preferred.
• Possesses at least 2-3 years of experience in video editing, including familiarity with camera equipment and operation.
• Demonstrates creative thinking with a sharp attention to detail.
• Exhibits strong communication abilities in both spoken and written English and Mandarin.
• Proficient in video editing and scripting software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe After Effects, and CapCut.
• Prepared to travel and work at the office (Bandar Sunway) and other locations as the company requires.
